The printer I have at home is the Brother MFC-665CW. This is a multi-fuction centre, it consists of a fax, printer, copier, scanner, telephone, speaker phone, message centre and direct photo printing. This multi-fuction centre is a fairly easy machine to use, although it may be hard to use sometimes if you have not read the "How to.." information book for it. The printer is currently around $179.99 on street value. The message centre can hold up to 29mins worth of messages, it can print really well, the coloured prints are usually pretty good, but there ARE better printing quality. The printer is a colour inkjet, it can print 27 pages per minute if they are black/white pages, where as it can print 22 if they were coloured pages. The warranty is one year.

But if I could choose what printer I was to have at home, I would choose the Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One Printer, this is not just a printer it is also a fax and copier. This product can print when it is black/white 29 pages per mintue, but if it's in colour it is only 19 pages per minute. This printer can usually be bought at prices ranging from $119.00 to $204.72. This printer is really good, it does everything nessicary, the only real fall back is that if your printer breaks, the fax and copier do not function either. The ink cartiages used usually costs around $30-$50.
